About us
The Maine Farmed Seafood Coalition is a community of farmers and industry partners working together to help keep our waterfront working.
We are committed to supporting sustainable aquaculture, local food production, and protecting Maine’s coastal fishing heritage by telling true stories of farming families, and providing accurate information about the cultural and economic importance of oysters, mussels, scallops, farmed salmon, and kelp.
As Maine’s waters reaches a critical point in their ability to produce our world-renowned seafood, we believe the work of our farmers and partners is of utmost value, not just for Maine, but for anyone who holds our culture close to heart.
Help us in supporting local farmers, their families, and the freshest food you can’t find anywhere else.
